How do I start playing?

Do I need to create an account?

No! AotearoaDrift doesn't require account creation. Your progress is automatically saved to your browser's local storage.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free. We use virtual currency with no real-world value. You can't deposit money, and you can't withdraw money. It's pure entertainment.

My progress isn't saving

Progress is saved using browser cookies and local storage. Make sure:

• Cookies are enabled in your browser settings
• You haven't cleared your browser data
• You're using the same browser and device
• Your browser isn't in private/incognito mode

The games aren't loading

Try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R)
2. Clear your browser cache

5. Check your internet connection

The site looks broken on my device

AotearoaDrift is designed to work on all modern browsers. If you're experiencing display issues:

I can't pass the age verification

To pass age verification:

1. Check the box confirming you're 18+
2. Click the "Enter AotearoaDrift" button

Game-Specific Help

Drift Slots

How to play: Click "SPIN" to bet your points and spin the reels. Match symbols to win according to the paytable.

Adjusting bets: Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease your bet amount between 10 and 100 points.

Best strategy: Higher bets don't change the odds, but do increase potential payouts proportionally.

Turbo Dice

How to play: Select a prediction, then click "ROLL DICE" to see if your prediction was correct.

Prediction types:

• Low (2-6): 3x payout
• Lucky 7: 5x payout
• High (8-12): 3x payout
• Even/Odd: 2x payout
• Doubles: 10x payout

Win streaks: Consecutive wins increase your streak counter, which is tracked in your statistics.

Drift Poker

How to play: Click "DEAL NEW HAND" to receive 5 cards. Select cards to hold by clicking them, then click "DRAW CARDS" to replace unselected cards.

Winning hands: Only hands of Jacks or Better (pair) and above win. Check the paytable for full details.

Strategy tip: Hold high pairs and cards that could form straights or flushes.

Points and Progress

How do I earn more points?

Win games! Each game has different payout structures shown in their respective paytables or info sections. There's no way to purchase points - it's skill and luck only.

What happens if I run out of points?

Use the "Reset Progress" button in any game to reset your points back to 1,000 and start fresh. You can do this unlimited times.

Can I transfer points between games?

Yes! Your points are shared across all three games, so you can play whichever game you prefer.

Will my progress transfer between devices?

No. Progress is saved locally on each device's browser. If you want to play on multiple devices, you'll have separate progress on each.
